The Downtown Business Association and member businesses have worked together to bring a new dining tradition to our community for a fourth year. Dining enthusiasts will be encouraged to celebrate the authenticity, quality and diversity found only in Downtown Ft Collins.
27 restaurants will offer dinner specials at an "established" price of only $18.68 (not including tax & tip).

Get Out Yer Gutties and Go Support Local Youth
Downtown Fort Collins will be a buzz with the spirit of St. Patrick as Public Service Credit Union presents the 11th annual Sharin’ O’ the Green. The 5k run/walk benefiting Partners Mentoring Youth starts at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 14th at Library Park. Children's Day ~ Loveland

Celebrate Colorado Children's Day in Downtown Loveland on March 4.
The City of Loveland, with the help of the Thompson School District,
will celebrate the 6th annual Colorado Children's Day on March 4, 2009 from 1:00 to
4:00 p.m. with great activities for kids at designated City facilities. Loveland
youngsters will be able to enjoy a day of fun and activities dedicated entirely to them.
Last year, more than 1,000 children and their parents enjoyed the fun at the Rialto
Theater, Fire Station #1, Library, Civic Center, Museum/Gallery and
Chilson Recreation Center. Some activities planned for this year include:
* 'Touch-a-truck'-fire engines, trash trucks, road graders - Fire Station #1 (410 E 5th St)
* Free cartoons at the Rialto Theater (228 E 4th St)
* Horse-drawn wagon rides provided by Wolf Thunder Draft Horses on the north side of Civic Center for $1/ride (500 E 3rd St)
* Dr. Seuss story time and activities at the Loveland Public Library (300 N Adams
St)
* Bus Safety & Storm Water Education puppet shows at Public Library (300 N Adams
St)
* Arts & crafts, autographs from Miss Loveland Valentine at Museum (503 N Lincoln Ave)
* One child admitted free with paying adult and free arts and crafts and balloon tying at the Chilson Recreation Center (700 E 4th St)
* Justice Joe, Safety Sam and other character meet-n-greets throughout the event sites.
* Vendor and sponsor booths and activities at Fire Station #1 and Civic Center.
* Win prizes from Chick-fil-A by collecting stamps on a Children's Day passport.

Sweet Sunny South returns to the Rialto and brings along the best young
bluegrass group in Colorado – Spring Creek. With a stage show that is
upbeat and always fun, Sweet Sunny South has been playing their original
songs around the West for eight years. Spring Creek is bluegrass -
straight up - with original songs and instrumental romps. In 2007, they
became the first band ever to win both the Rockygrass and the Telluride
Bluegrass Festival band competitions.

Magnificent Mystery Mural ~ Greeley

Looking for a way to express yourself? Help us make a mural to display
in the library! Each participant will be given a piece of canvas with a
single brush stroke on it. Your task will be to complete the canvas
using whatever technique you like (draw, paint, collage, etc.) The
finished pieces will be reassembled to create a single work of art. No
previous art experience is necessary, and we'll supply the canvas,
paints, and brushes—you supply the creativity. Let's see what we can do
together. This program is part of UNC's Earth Reveries. Space is
limited; registration is required.

Sigma Lambda Beta fraternities, Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, and Pi Lambda
Chi Sorority. There will be giveaways and free food.

Family CONNECTS is offering early learning groups in an area
near you. All parents and their children, birth to 5 years are welcome
to come and join the FUN! We play, run, paint, read, discover and laugh.
Also, learn how to support your child's development in all areas and
promote early literacy skills.
Fees, for January - June, will be $10 per month for a single child, and
$15 per week for 2 or more children (in the same family). We ask that
you pay one month at a time. This will be due at the first Early
Learning Group of every month. You may also pay for an entire semester
at a 20% discount. Please talk to the facilitator for exact amounts. If
you decide to withdraw from the group please notify your group
facilitator so that we can enroll another family on our waiting list.
